• REGARDING GOOGLE AND GOOGLE CLASSROOM

Connection with Google Classroom is completely optional and up to the user. It is not required to work with Grade Scanner.

You can enable it from Settings > Google Classroom and it will allow you to create your classes in grade scanner based on those in your Google Classroom account.

This data is stored in your device only, locally and not shared with any other app or service.

This integration will let you publish grade scanner results as new tasks and will include the score for that particular assessment.

In order to include the scanned document as PDF, this integration will store the PDF first in your Google Drive account (the same as Google Classroom) and will publish a link/URL on each student for them to access.

So, in short:

  • Grade Scanner will request access to your Google Classroom account to load your list of students so you can add your assessments
  • Grade Scanner will ask for Google Drive access to store those assessments online and publish them in Google Classroom.

• REGARDING BACKUPS AND THEIR STORAGE

Backups of iDoceo Grade Scanner are absolutely optional and are only manually activated by the teacher. They are not required for the proper functioning of the application.
If they are deemed necessary, we recommend using the center’s servers with the Backup option in WebDAV and thus avoid storing it in a cloud provider.
Backups are encrypted.
